“Face of Love” continues Reid Bateh’s run of haunted storytelling — vivid, broken, and beautiful. It captures the inescapable pull of memory, identity, and desire in a haze of Southern Gothic intensity and post-punk groove.

“Like a snake that bites after death, some faces are ageless / in stasis / 'til one night they inject shame into an older you…”

This is a song that lingers.

And that bridge? Featuring vocals by Midwife (@mercury_tracer), it lifts the whole track into something spectral and sublime.
