Released in 2025, the duo’s fourth album and first self-titled release marks a clear turning point. Framed as a concept record inspired by RPGs like NieR: Automata and Final Fantasy X, the album follows two fragile characters, reflections of Megan James and Corin Roddick, moving through the ruins of a broken world while trying to build something gentler inside it. It feels intentional and expansive, like a vision they’ve been quietly circling for years.

Roddick’s production reaches deep into digital nostalgia and dream logic, layering vintage synth tones, breakbeats, classical guitar, pan flutes, and warped textures that feel both euphoric and slightly haunted. James meets that scale with her most varied vocal work to date, shifting between clarity and abstraction, delivering lyrics in a bright, dizzying stream of consciousness rather than fixed narratives.

This self-released album feels unrestrained in the best way. Instead of refining the Purity Ring sound, it opens it up, allowing imagination, emotion, and world-building to coexist.
