Released in 2022, the album marks a harder, more physical turn for the Athens duo, pushing their minimal synth and darkwave foundation into something rawer and more obsessive. Where earlier releases balanced mystery and mood, Animal Mentality feels driven by compulsion, focusing on desire, power, and repetition as forces that override reason rather than coexist with it.

Rigid basslines and stark synth patterns lock into hypnotic cycles, while rhythms hit with blunt insistence. Vocals are cold and commanding, delivered with restraint that heightens their intensity instead of softening it. The production stays stripped and deliberate, allowing pressure to build through repetition rather than escalation.
