📦 Greycat Records Shipping Policy
✨ Packaging Philosophy
At Greycat Records, we ship vinyl the way we’d want to receive it.
We use heavyweight, reinforced mailers, secure corner protection, and proper padding to ensure your records arrive safely—no split seams, no bent jackets, no surprises.
When requested, we also follow the best-practice method for vinyl shipping, which means:
- Carefully removing the vinyl from its outer sleeve
- Placing it in a protective inner sleeve beside the jacket
This prevents vinyl shifting during transit, which can stress or split the outer sleeve—a common issue in careless packaging.
If you're a collector who prefers this method by default, just drop us a note at checkout. We’re happy to oblige.
⏳ Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days. During heavy release periods or sales, processing may take up to 5 business days.
Preorders will ship on or around the listed release date. If your order contains a preorder, it will ship when all items are available—unless otherwise requested.
📬 Domestic Shipping (U.S.)
We offer flat-rate shipping via USPS or UPS depending on weight and location.
All records are shipped in sturdy, reinforced LP mailers with care.
- Standard shipping: 2–8 business days depending on distance
- Expedited shipping is available at checkout
- Tracking is provided for all orders
🔄 Shipping Damage or Issues
If your item arrives damaged, please email us at orders@greycatrecords.com within 7 days of delivery. Include photos of the packaging and item so we can assist quickly.
We do not refund packages marked as delivered but not received. Please double-check your shipping info before placing an order.

⚠️ Split Shipping
We do not offer split shipping by default. If you’d like in-stock items shipped separately from preorder titles, place a separate order—or email us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
