Corpus Delicti - Liminal

Liminal feels like standing between past and present and realizing both are still very much alive.

Released in 2024, the album marks a return for Corpus Delicti, carrying forward the band’s signature blend of gothic rock and post-punk while letting time and distance reshape the tone. It doesn’t chase nostalgia, it deepens it.

Guitars shimmer and swell with that familiar melancholic weight, basslines move with steady, shadowed momentum, and the rhythms stay grounded and deliberate. The production is fuller than their early work, but still leaves space for atmosphere to linger. Vocals remain expressive and dramatic, anchoring the record with a sense of continuity.

Liminal works as both continuation and reflection. It captures Corpus Delicti revisiting their sound with perspective, proving the mood they helped define still carries weight decades later.
