Display Model is the debut full-length from Harsh Symmetry, the solo project of Julian Sharwarko. Drawing from the icy pulse of darkwave and the shimmer of synthpop, the album fuses retro-futuristic textures with deeply romantic melancholy. Think eyeliner at last call, digital roses decaying in real time.
Clocking in at just over 30 minutes, each track on Display Model feels like a faded photograph of the night before—a swirl of lush synths, reverb-soaked vocals, and perfectly minimalist beats. There's a strong sense of restraint here, but also drama—more Soft Cell than She Past Away, more heartbreak than horror.
