The set reaches across the band’s catalog, with material from their landmark debut Turn on the Bright Lights sitting alongside later favorites. “PDA” remains a masterclass in gradually escalating post-punk tension, while “Obstacle 1” demonstrates just how durable those early songs have become. “All the Rage Back Home” and “My Desire,” both drawn from 2014’s El Pintor, bring a heavier, more muscular edge to the performance.

The setting is an important part of the record. Third Man’s direct-to-acetate recording process captures a live performance as it happens, with the music cut directly to lacquer rather than assembled through extensive studio editing.
